The Full Story
My dad was an artist. I can doodle, but never really had the talent that showed in other members of my family. The thing I noticed growing up though, that there weren’t enough places for them to be able to have their voices heard. They didn’t fit the conventional artist box that had all the focus and attention, so they were easily drowned out in the crowd. Then I had the chance to experience an art show in my youth, and eventually helped open a gallery with friends in my early adulthood, and fell in love with the community. I wanted to bring art to those who hadn’t been able to experience it, and allow those creatives that didn’t know they could find a place to find it. This space is meant to make art inclusive and attainable.

At the Soliloquy studio, we believe that every artist has a voice that deserves to be heard. Like a soliloquy—a moment of truth spoken from the soul—our gallery is a space where creativity becomes dialogue, vulnerability becomes strength, and expression becomes community.
Located in the heart of Downtown Fullerton, we are dedicated to making art accessible to all by removing barriers between artists and audiences. We champion diversity, amplify historically disenfranchised voices, and cultivate opportunities for future generations to create, learn, and thrive.
Through exhibitions, education, and collaboration, the Soliloquy studio stands as both stage and sanctuary—a place where art speaks its truth, and every individual is invited to listen, reflect, and join the conversation.

We envision a world where art is not elite. It’s not overly complex. It’s beautiful in its simplicity and accessible to those who thought it was out of their reach. Our goal is to make it possible for art that would otherwise not be created or seen to have a place for everyone to enjoy and be moved.
